The Diversity, Inclusion and Global (DIG) Committee shall advise the Corporate Board on policies to ensure all facilities and programs are inclusive, accessible, and available to all.
• To provide guidance in the development of strategic DEI resources and plans related to the YMCA’s mission, cause and strategic plan. • To review policies and practices for diversity, Equity, inclusion and recommend appropriate revisions to the Board of Directors when warranted. • To provide initiatives related to staff recruitment, retention, training and development, diversity and inclusion, staff engagement and other areas of talent management. • To advise management on maintaining a positive workplace culture. • To provide input in DEI related trainings to HR and Directors.
