YMCA of the Roses
This volunteer position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Provides direct supervision of a group of children in a youth sports program. Creates positive, nurturing relationships with children, while building cooperative relationships with parents/caregivers. Promotes and supports the potential of all youth in programs and facilitates peer-to-peer connections as part of the overall program experience.
1. Provided by the Youth, Family and Sports Director, distribute league rules, schedules, rosters and t-shirts to the youth and parents 2. Guide youth in beneficial drills and activities they could use during the game as necessary 3. Leading the team and each individual on the team in a proper manner 4. Officiate games on an as needed basis 5. Insure all equipment is used properly and returned to the appropriate locations 6. Set-up and clean-up before and after each game

Hazardous Conditions/Materials Exposure - Possible frequent exposure to outdoor elements.
