• Provide counsel in the development of strategic plans related to the Christian mission of the YMCA and its integration into mission-imperative programs and services. • Establish programs that enhance the mission of the YMCA of the Roses. Such programs could include but not be limited to: Good Friday Breakfast, Men’s/Women’s Bible Studies, Chaplaincy Program, Prayer boxes at branch sites and special events for disadvantaged populations such as Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter dinners for Men’s Residence. • Review and make recommendations related to putting Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all. • Conduct an annual self-evaluation of the Christian Emphasis Committee’s performance, including its effectiveness and compliance with this commission.
