YMCA of the Roses
The Human Resources Committee is commissioned by the Board of Directors to provide counsel in development of strategic human resources plans related to the Y mission and cause, recommend policies and practices, advise staff relative to talent management and review recommended policies related to total rewards including salary administration.
• To provide counsel in the development of strategic human resource plans related to the YMCA’s mission, cause and strategic plan. • To review HR policies and practices and recommend appropriate revisions to the Board of Directors when warranted. • To provide counsel related to staff recruitment, retention, training and development, diversity and inclusion, staff engagement and other areas of talent management. • To advise management on maintaining a positive workplace culture. • To review and recommend policies related to total rewards including salary administration plan and employee benefits. • To conduct an annual self-evaluation of the HR Committee’s performance including its effectiveness in compliance with this commission.
